Abstract

Autonomic computing is an entirely new philosophy for the development of computing systems. This paper first presents the basic concept and principle of autonomic computing. Then, an architecture is proposed for autonomic computing systems. Finally, design issues of a multi-agent autonomic architecture for network management are presented.
